JFK’S ASSASSINATION (CBS-TV COVERAGE)(PART 11)
CBS News, of course, will stay on the air live throughout this day to keep you up to the minute on the latest developments in the assassination of the President and in the inevitable aftermath that will follow him.
Mrs. Kennedy was with the President uh in the same car. She was not hurt.
The President’s mother and father were told of the that the President was shot by a workman in Hyannis Port, Massachusetts where they are. The report came to them before it was known that the President had been killed.
Man in the background takes a puff of a cigarette!
Odd that a workman would know about the shooting and death of JFK
before the parents knew.
I guess the workman worked for someone that would know.
They never reveal the name of that workman. Maybe puffing is a clue.
Reports were that neither the President’s father, former Ambassador Joseph F. Kennedy or Joseph P. Kennedy rather, nor the President’s mother, had any comment to make when told of the shooting.
The President’s father is now a semi-invalid as a result of a stroke a few years ago and he was napping when the word came. The President and Mrs. Kennedy had planned to spend Thanksgiving Holiday at Hyannis Port next week.

There is no soun sound to this but the United Nations like other institutions is uh adjourning its deliberations to pay honor to the President of the United States.
Pope Paul in Rome has been informed of the President’s death.
Cardinal Spellman there in Rome for the Ecumenical Council, his voice shaking with emotion said,
“I am saying the Rosary for him now.”
‘ The Cardinal said that President Kennedy’s death …..
President Kennedy, of course, a fellow co-religionist of Cardinal Spellman.
The Cardinal said, “it was a great loss to the country and to the world.”
Cardinal James McIntyre of Los Angelos and Cardinal Ritter of St. Louis called together the student priests of Rome’s North American College to recite prayers for Kennedy.
Cardinal McIntyre said that Cardinal Ritter and myself were having dinner there in Rome.
It’s dinnertime there, because of the time difference.
When they heard the astounding news of the President’s death we are shocked, grief-stricken. Our hearts are pained.
I’m suspicious of their alibi!
Hardly anyone else tells where they are
at that time
and/or what they are doing unless they were at the scene of the crime. Seems very presumptive!
The name Ritter makes me think of John Ritter the actor who starred in a weekly comedy called ”Threes Company.”
What seems stranger to me is that the person who hands Jackie Kennedy or her double the Lamb Chops Puppet over the fence line at the airport in Dallas a half hour before the assassination of President Kennedy looks very much like John Ritter with a hat on his head. He also looks like the man in the picture that I found of Billy Graham and two friends at Wheaton College. The pictures of both are in the same articles/posts linked below. Check it out:

West Germany Chancellor Ludwig Eirehart who was to have visited President Kennedy on Sunday was informed of the President’s death while on the way back to Bonn from Paris. “The news fills the German people with deep grief,” said Chancellor Eirehart. “All those who had the fortunate opportunity to make the personal acquaintance of President Kennedy, in particular the people of Berlin where of course the President had recently visited, are deeply grieved in this hour.”
The Premier Designate of Italy Aldo Morro said,
“his stature as a politician in his great country and on the international scene was growing
in these years of a cor courageous policy of renewal.”
“The reason for which he was struck in a mad way
raises President Kennedy
even more on the moral plane
as a great defender of man’s dignity and equality,”
said the Italian Premier Designate in Rome.
French Premier George Pompedoui exclaimed, “It is atrocious. It is frightful. I am overwhelmed.”
In Madrid, a foreign office spokesman said, “It is horrible, absolutely horrible, a most barbarous thing. Everyone here is horrified.”
And thus international differences, disputes, are swept away in the moment of shock, stun, grief.
The Italian News Agency Tass in reporting on it’s wires to it’s subscribers the death of the President asserted that he had been killed by a right wing American extremist. There is no confirmation of that. A man has been arrested in Dallas, a 30 year old white man who was carrying a gun. We know nothing of his political persuasion. But Dallas, Texas is considered a center of conservative philosophy and finance. It was on Oct. 24th that Adelai Stevenson our Ambassador to the United Nations, whom you saw a moment ago receiving condolences of representatives of other countries to the United Nations, that Adelai Stevenson making an appearance on United Nations Day in Dallas was spat upon by one heckler and struck with a placard by another. It was believed that uh the strong emotions which run in Texas and other parts of the South may have been part of the context of attitudes which resulted in the tragic occurence today.
It is believed that the President’s body will be moved shortly to Washington. Traditionally, funeral services for Presidents who die in office are held in the Capitol. A Presidential Spokesman, a White House spokesman told newsmen that Governor Connally who had been riding in the same open limousine with the President had been wounded in the right chest. Connally ha was rushed into surgery in the hospital for a 2 hour emergency operation. He is said uh to be in serious condition, but the doctors say that his vital forces are strong. (licks)
A Lieutenant of the Secret Service, Lieutenant Kominski, said that the assassin’s weapon appears to have been a high-powered army or Japanese rifle of about 25 caliber. The rifle had a scope sight on it at according to the Secret Service Lieutenant. (licks) The entire building where the sniper was located was evacuated and people working in the building at the time of the shooting were questioned.
This morning President Kennedy had telephoned Vice President John Nance Garner who had been Roosevelt’s Vice President, as you remember, congratulating him on his 95th birthday where Vice Presi where former Vice President Garner lives in New Valdi, Texas. And according to this report Garner’s end of the conversation went this way God Bless you Mr President. You’re my President and I love you. I hope you stay there forever. Thank you, Mr. President. God bless you. The words of former VIce President John Nance Garner 95 years old in Texas this morning. One of the last telephone calls that President Kennedy apparently made.
This is what we know of the assassination as it took place this morning. President Kennedy was traveling in a motorcade through the streets of Dallas before a a generally enthusiastic crowd, in some places a conspicuously enthusiastic crowd of a quarter million people. With Mr. Kennedy in the open limousine, the White House Bubble Top, which is so familiar to those who have seen the President on television or in person as he travels throughout the country. With the President were Governor John Connally of Texas, Mrs. Kennedy, and Mrs. Connally. Suddenly there were shots. An eye witness said that he saw them, saw them, fired from a window in a warehouse building overlooking the route from downtown Tallis Dallas out to the Trade Mart where the President was to appear.(licks) Bullets hit Mr. Kennedy in the forehead and Governor Connally in the chest. The two men were seen to slump into their wives arms. Neither Mrs. Kennedy nor Mrs. Connally were hurt.
One report has said, still not confirmed, that one of the Secret Service men accompanying and guarding the President was killed by the gunfire.
Then convoyed by Police the limousine raced off at top speed to Parkland Hospital which was 5 minutes away. Meanwhile Police and Secret Secret Service agents moved in on the assassins searched the building and an arrest of one man armed with a rifle is reported.
The President and the Governor were taken to the hospital’s Emergency Room. The President was not moved from there and died there. The Governor was moved to an operating room and after an operation is reported in serious condition, but the doctors appear to be hopeful.
Dallas motorcycle officers who were ranging along beside the cavalcade took off across a field in the direction from which the murderer apparently had fired. One officer raced to the foot of a nearby railroad embankment and climbed to the tracks above gun in hand. No one knew quite where the shots had been fired for quite a long while. Apparently they were fired from a building and not from one of the knolls which rose above the road.
White House Secretary Press Secretary the acting Press Secretary Malcom Killduff said that the President’s body will be flown to Washington this afternoon.
The Dallas Sheriff’s Department said a rifle had been found on a staircase on the fifth floor of the building near the scene where it is now believed the from where the shots were fired. It was a 7.65 Mouser, German rifle familiar to those who served in WWII. The German made army rifle had a telescopic sight, one shell was left in the chamber, three spent shells were found nearby. Most of the witnesses most of those who were in the cavalcade as they attempt to recollect the sudden and confused events which took place say that they heard three shots which uh checks with the fact that three shots had been fired one still found in the Mouser with which the assassin was apparently armed.
Democratic Senator from Texas Ralph Yarborough who like most other Texas Politicians these days have been engaged in hot political infighting there was riding three cars behind President Kennedy and he told newsmen in a choked and emotional interview (the young man at CBS Studio coughs in background) that you could tell that something awful and tragic had happened. Senator Yarborough said that I could see a Secret Service man in the President’s car leaning on the car with his hands in anger, anguish, and despair. I knew then said Sen. Yarboroughthat something tragic had happened.

We continue to get reports from foreign countries as the word reaches the Chiefs of State and simple people in other countries of
the death of the American President.
As is always happens on these occasions shock ahh is the dominating note of the reports from abroad.

The slip of the tongue ” Shock ahh” reminds me of “Shock and Awe”!
What is odd about this is that there is a man that seems to be casing the reporters, especially Walter Cronkite in the CBS News Room in earlier reports looks like a young George Bush Jr.

“Shock and Awe (technically known as rapid dominance) is a military doctrine based on the use of overwhelming power, dominant battlefield awareness, dominant maneuvers, and spectacular displays of force to paralyze an adversary’s perception of the battlefield and destroy its will to fight. The doctrine was written by Harlan K. Ullman and James P. Wade in 1996 and is a product of the National Defense University of the United States.”
I wonder if James P. Wade is related to Henry Wade?

I tried to find young pictures of George Bush JR., but had no luck. The reactions of the CASING PACING MAN to certain subjects or words used by Walter Cronkite such as et and just his odd behavior in the first few hours after the assassination of JFK seem to be Texas sensitive. George Bush is a Texan. Probably just a coincidence! Although his dad was a leader of the CIA in that time period when President Kennedy was assassinated, I think, although Pres. Bush Sr denies it? Even his body language seems similar. The fact that George Bush was evangelized by Billy Graham and Billy Graham appears to be a participant also seems odd. Another interesting link George Bush said that when he looks in Pope Benedict’s eyes that he sees God.
Pope Benedict and his brother George also are participants and their picture was taken with President Eisenhower and a young Joseph Ratzinger is represented in that picture as being the Chief of the Secret Service, Chief Rowley. Not only that both are in the background of the Manhattan street man interview in the post following called

starring Amanda Plummer and Ruth Gordon of Rose Mary’s Baby. So I guess they are involved in some cap-a-city, as well.
The late Rev. David Wilkerson at the airport in Dallas also seems to be involved in some capacity with this affair.
The pastor of Highland Park Methodist Church in Dallas, Texas – Dr. William Dickinson Jr who also looks like some kind of high official of either the Secret Service, CIA, or Police who arrives at the scene of the School Book Depository directing other officials which occurs before he arrives at the Trade Mart an hour later to “give a word” and/or the BENEDICTION at the end of Part 5 of this series.
The Second Vatican Council of the Roman Catholic Church just happens to be occurring in that same year and the beginning of the Neocatechumenal Way and Opus Dei.
Another person who gives his whereabouts and who he is with at the time of the assassination, ie an alibi, is Billy Graham in a book Billy Graham wrote called Just As I AM which I wrote about in the post called:

which also includes a whole bunch of interesting activities at the airport in Dallas and very strange behavior of Secret Service Agent Jack Ready/Billy Graham, Jackie Kennedy, Secret Service Agent Roy Kellerman and others which I hope you will take time to read.
The skiddish/skittish behavior of the CBS Reporters in the Newsroom in New York which I believe was a takeover of the Press at that time, the blackout of Dallas at the first hour of the incident, in other words, it was a COUP.
The puffing of Billy Graham and now George Ganswein, the Pope’s personal secretary. Ganswein’s resemblance to Randolph William Hearst who had the Press puff BIlly Graham and was or is said to have been a Nazi Sympathizer and many other things. His initiative for the World Youth Organization. Now the push to invite the World Youths and anyone else to PASS THROUGH the Magnificent Portal at Notre Dame in Paris at the Courtyard of the Gentiles. Then there is 911 and the forfeit of privacy for National Security’s sake. the abuse of the Press, Ecumenicalism, Secret Societies, which was expressed by President Kennedy before he died and not to mention, but I will anyway, the death of his brother Robert Kennedy and JFK’s son John F. Kennedy Jr and their close ties to Billy Graham or rather his invasion of their family naivety and friendship.
Billy Graham has proved over the years to be a shill of the Papacy, Roman Catholicism and the Unified World Religion ie Ecumenicalism.
Gee it seems thatWWII is still ongoing and we have many spies in our country including actors and actresses!
Hate to admit and it does sound crazy I think we are dealing with doubles, occupation of bodies, and probably some form of trance/hypnotic mind control of people in this case. MOST ASSUREDLY a spiritual connection to their behavior culminating in our day and time because they serve a FALSE GOD ie the DEVIL, because they are victims of the FALSE TEACHING of the FALSE SYNOPTIC GOSPELS PROPAGATING A FALSE REPRESENTATION OF JESUS and WHY HE CAME, WHEN HE CAME, AND WHO HE IS in their scrambling, confusion and PURSUIT FOR POWER and most of all to control us, confuse us, abuse us, rob us, and kill us for their MASTER because they also want to be our masters. One big huge mess. Most of them could care less about the truth as they pray their mantra to their RAT MAN enslaving their followers at the same time.

If you think it is not important….think again. Who you pray to is important.
There are some that have tried in their capacities to express their suspicions in their way as best they can. We ought to notice and analyze when we can what they have tried to show us being heedful of artful deception all around them and us and the possibility that they are deceived and/or are part of the deception.
It is extremely tough and confusing to interpret, but very stupid and totally ridiculous to ignore!

Back to CBS NEWS:
We learned from Washington that Mrs. Sargent Shriver the sister of the President has been taken by helicopter from the White House to Andrews Air Force Base presumably to fly to Dallas to join Mrs. Kennedy or perhaps to await there the return of the party from Dallas.
Mrs. Kennedy, who was riding in the same car with the President, was not hurt, but has been taken to a quiet room in the hospital. 1:10/10:40 AH AH AH AH AH At this moment after the aftermath of the terrible moment that she had to go through in which shot rang out and the President slunk down his head in her lap.
That was strange!
Reports are still coming in. They do not perhaps add a great deal to the confusion of the events that we have been trying to sort out all day, but as they come into us CBS News is going to stay on the air live from here throughout this day in order to keep you up to date on the latest developments in the assassination of the President and what happens next.
The news agencies and our own correspondents who are keeping us informed from Dallas continue to send us reports bringing together the various pieces of information some confirmed some unconfirmed as they come in and as we begin to sort out the truth from the rumors of what has happened. (licked)
The President’s body has now been removed from Parkland Hospital. It was taken from there uh shortly after his death in a long uh cream colored ambulance with the curtains tightly drawn. Mrs Kennedy rode from the hospital in a passenger seat in the ambulance which is a type of vehicle that does have two seats for passengers. She and the body of President Kennedy were escorted from the Emergency Entrance of the Parkland Hospital by two motorcycle officers. Mrs. Kennedy walked slowly from the hospital to the ambulance looking around her, we are told, in a dazed manner and appeared to be in a state of shock. Those who saw her enter the hospital an hour and a half earlier said that she had not been hysterical and remained in control of herself throughout. Secret Service men uh have directed Police to remove spectators from the whole area.
Now we have another report from Washington.

Three jet planes are now warming up at Andrew’s Air Force Base presumably to fly members of the President’s family to Dallas, Texas. As you’ve already heard Eunice Shriver, the President’s sister, has left the White House by helicopter along with the President’s aide and very good friend Theodore Sorenson presumably on the way to Andrew’s Air Force Base.
Comments coming in from Capitol Hill are uniform in sorrow and very much bi-partisan. Democratic Senate Leader Mike Mansfield told newsmen, ” the death was a deep personal and tragic loss.”
Seated with Republican Senate Leader Everit Dirkson and Mansfield offices off the floor of the Senate Chamber the Democratic Leader told assembled reporters simply, “He was a man who contributed so much and deserves so much more in return.”
Senator Allen Bible Democrat of Nevada said, “This is one of the great tragedies of our civilization. The world has lost a great champion and the United States has lost a great and courageous President.”
Senator Jordan Democrat of North Carolina said, “The assassination was a great tragedy that has befallen this nation.”
The Speaker of the House and the next man in line for the Presidency after Lyndon Johnson, Speaker McCormick issued this statement to reporters, “This is a tragic event. I feel very inadequate in expressing my thoughts. The nation,” said Speaker McCormack,” has sustained a staggering loss, the significance of which is stupendous. Our country and the entire world will never forget President Kennedy. His leadership was superb in meeting the challenge of this period of world history. The warmth of his personality will never be forgotten. The relationship that has existed between the President and myself throughout the years has been very close and most friendly. In his tragic passing I have lost a dear and personal friend. The statement of Speaker McCormack.
We are told that an aide of Vice President Lyndon Johnson, now President Johnson George Reedy has arrived at the White House. There can be very little delay in these times, of course, to have a new administration take over. As we told you the law says the Oath of Office can be given by almost anyone. By now Johnson could already have taken it. It is presumed he will take it very shortly.

President Kennedy’s body has been removed from the hospital in Dallas, Texas on the first stage of its journey back to Washington for what will be a State Burial. Mrs. Kennedy accompanied the body in an ambulance from the hospital to the airport where it will be flown back to Washington. Walter Cronkite whom uh who has been at this microphone all afternoon since the first word of of the President’s death has uh been looking at the reports as they come in. Walter have you discovered anything further than we’ve been uh giving?
Charles, nothing, except, as you know and indeed have already reported, that now the messages are beginning to come in from around the world and from the cities of the United States where a nation is in almost I I I would say it advisably, almost uncontrollable shock it seems. They’re weeping on the streets. Schools have to be dismissed. My own school is dismissed, because the children were weeping so much they couldn’t stay in con…..garbled (Man behind is wiping his eyes). Quite a tragic day as we all obviously know. Do you want me to relieve you a few minutes here Garbled stay on the air through all this is. Excuse me.

We do have some word here to, as to, as to uh what is, where some of the members of the uh Kennedy family were at the time of the event in Dallas, the assassination. Bob Kennedy, Robert Kennedy the uh Attorney General of the United States uh we are told was uh at lunch at the time it happened uh at his home in McClean, Virgina.
Uh FBI Director J. Edgar Hoover called the FBI office in Dallas and ordered an all out investigation of the shooting which of course could be expected. (licks) President Kennedy as you’ve been told now was uh the first President to be assassinated since William McKinnley who was shot to death in 19 uh 6 uh 19 uh 01.
(Takes off glasses) Six members of the Kennedy Cabinet as you also I believe have been told during the day were out of the country on their way to Japan. Uh their plane was called back an hour and a half out of Honolulu. Uh, they’re expected, of course, to return immediately to Washington. (licks)
It is anticipated that the new President of the United States, the 36th President of the United States, Lyndon Baines Johnson, will continue uh the presi Kennedy’s policies with which he (?takes off glasses) seemed to be in firm agreement during these three years of the Kennedy Administration and presumably will continue most of the Cabinet in office uh through this next year at least until the uh November elections. We told you that Senator Robert Kennedy was at his home in McClean, Virginia when he got the word. Senator Ted Kennedy and his wife, Joan, uh are now leaving Washington. Uh They’re boarding a jet at Andrews Air Force Base uh destined for Hyannis Port to be with uh the President’s mother and father who got the news there from a workman around the house who uh came running to the uh lawn where Mr. Kennedy was resting, with the news of the assassination. The new President of the United States we believe that he must have by now taken uh the Oath of Office although we have not been advised of this yet is Lyndon Baines Johnson, a native of Texas, of Johnson City, Texas; where his mother and father had a ranch. He was born there some 54 years ago. (licks)
Uh, he was uh interested in politics at an early day when he was still in Southwest State Teachers College. He took uh law later and uh and became a very early uh follower of Fa Franklin Delanor Roosevelt who uh caught uh uh who became interested in the young man uh when he went to Congress in 19 uh in the early days uh 1937 of the Roosevelt uh second term and uh Mr. Roosevelt had indeed sponsored him for that uh job after making him
National Youth Administrator in Texas.

CBS News Correspondent Dan Rather has arrived in our KRLD Studio in Dallas.
Let’s switch now to Dallas for his story.
( licks) The whereabouts of Lyndon Bane Johnson at the moment are unknown. VIce President, either soon to be or already President of the United States. Lyndon Johnson was at the Parkland Hospital in Dallas at the time or near the time of the official announcement of the death of the 35th President of this country, John F. Kennedy. Mr. Johnson left the hospital a very short time after 1:00 o’clock Central Standard Time. That would be 2:00 o’clock in New York.
The Secret Service, at this moment or as a few moments ago, was saying that Mr. Johnson uhs whereabouts would not be revealed for security reasons.
Most, if not all, of the Federal District Judges of Dallas and surrounding counties
were in and around the motorcade at the time the shooting occurred. We are told that most of the District Judges went to Parkland Hospital. It is possible we are told, that uh Lyndon Johnson was sworn in in some kind of temporary ceremony at the hospital, however there is no confirmation on that. The fact is, at the moment, the whereabouts of uh Lyndon Johnson are unknown, the Secret Service says, for security reasons. (licks)
Why were Federal District Judges of Dallas and surrounding counties on the street.
Weren’t they invited to the luncheon at the Trade Mart?
(Or were they just reliable witnesses.)
Mrs. John F. Kennedy left the hospital at approximately the same time the coffin carrying the body of her husband left. The coffin went to a private air installation at Dallas’s Love Field. Uh it either has left or will leave Dallas Love Field in a matter of minutes. (licks sorta)
We are told uh that the gun shot wound, the fatal wound inflicted on the President of the United States, entered at the base of the throat and came out at the base of the neck on uh the back side.
CBS News Correspondent Bob Pierpoint has been at the Parkland Hospital here in Dallas from just a few moments after the time uh President Kennedy arrived at the hospital and Governor John Connally arrived at the hospital. We expect to have Bob Pierpoint in the studio here with us very shortly. (licks)
A briefing session for newsmen is anticipated at Parkland Hospital at any moment. Uh Pierre Salinger, the Presidential Press Secretary presumably will preside over that briefing session. We hope to bring you that uh briefing session either live from the hospital or on film. At that time a good deal of the uh confusion about exactly what happened along the motorcade route uh here in Dallas at the time President Kennedy was shot and killed should be cleared up. That briefing session we expect to have in a few minutes.
Also, on the air very shortly we are hopeful of having some film taken at the Dallas Airport at the time of President Kennedy’s arrival.
Also, CBS news cameraman from Washington Tommy Cravens was in the motorcade uh less than 50 yards from President Kennedy when the shooting occurred. Uh, Cameraman Cravens film is uh on the premises at the time, at this time, being processed. We hope to have that film for you very, very sh shortly. What it will show uh Cameraman Cravens was not uh at all certain.
The there is some confusion as to whether a Secret Service man also was killed at the time of the shooting. There has been no official confirmation of any Secret Service man being killed. Although there are widespread reports including one from the Dallas Police Department that a Secret Service man was killed at the same time President Kennedy and Texas Governor John Connally were shot.
The latest word from the hospital on uh Texas Governor Connally was that Governor Connally was in the operating room and had been uh seriously if not critically wounded. That was the last official word that we had from the Dallas Parkland Hospital. (licks)
As you may know by this time President Kennedy was shot as he took part in a motorcade which was driving him to the Dallas Trade Mart which is uh a big meeting center located just a short way from down town Dallas. (licks) The announcement that the President had been shot was not made at that meeting center until approximately a half hour after the President arrived at the hospital. There was a great deal of uh grief immediately at the uh center there was a great deal of disbelief. In fact uh switchboards all over Dallas that anything resembling a public information source or still completely swamped with callers who are apparently refuse to believe that John F. Kennedy has been shot and killed. (licks)
There have been a number of uh suspects arrested by Dallas Police, Dallas County Sheriff’s Officers. One of the suspects was a 25 year old white youth. He was the first one arrested. He was in the vicinity of a multi-story building uh near the scene where President Kennedy and Texas Governor Connally were shot. On the fourth or fifth floor it has never been completely determined on which floor of that building, 4 empty cartridges were found. Police immediately arraigned that building. They also arraigned a 3 or 4 block area around that building believing that uh the assassin had fired his shots from the building.
A 25 year old white man was arrested either in or near that building and taken uh to the Dallas County Sheriff’s Office as a suspect. However our latest report from the Sheriff’s office is that 25 year old man is not considered a good suspect.
Just a short while ago, near a down town Dallas theater, a 30 year old white man was arrested. He had on his person a weapon. At this time we are not exactly certain as to what kind of weapon it was. It uh had been reported that a 30-30 caliber weapon was the one used to kill President Kennedy and wound Governor Connally. That has not been confirmed. The whether or not the man arrested a few minutes ago at a down town Dallas theater had on his person a 30-30 weapon has not yet been confirmed. But the fact is that a 30 year old white man meeting the description of one for whom uh an alert and all points alert was put out shortly after the shooting has been taken into custody in down town Dallas.
In just a moment we hope to have the films from the shooting scene uh just after the shooting occurred by CBS cameraman Tommy Cravens. But while we see if that film uh is ready and can be uh shown to you, lets switch back to CBS news headquarters in New York.

There is considerable controversy that has gone on over a good number of years that is going to come up again now under tragic circumstances as to what number should be given to the new President of the United States Lyndon Baines Johnson. Whether he is the 36th or the 37th President of the United States even as it uh was debated whether President Kennedy is properly the 35th or the 36th President. This all stems from the fact that Grover Cleveland served split terms as President of the United States. Mr. President Truman uh called himself the 34th President of the United States and President Kennedy called himself the 35th both believing that Grover Cleveland’s two non-consequetive terms should be counted as one uh in counting the number of Presidents and not the total terms should be counted. So on that basis uh presumably President Lyndon Baines Johnson will consider himself the 36th President of the United States.

We still, quite oddly it seems uh to me on this news desk, have had no word from Dallas at all as to the uh location of (licks) uh Mr. Johnson, nor as to whether or not he has indeed taken the Oath of Office. It is assumed that he would have from uh a Dallas Judge, a Federal Judge perhaps. Perhaps then deciding to have another uh ceremony in Washington with the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court uh which was what uh Calvin Coolidge did when he learned that he had become the President of the United States on his uh Vermont farm. It seems almost uh inconceivable that again this whole tragic set of circumstances has taken place in
these last three hours only. (looking up at someone or something)

We now learn that Vice President Johnson is expected to be sworn in as President aboard an airliner before flying back to the nation’s capitol.
The White House says that Mrs. Kennedy will return to Washington late today to be with the children Carolyn 6 and John Jr. who will be 3 next week.
(licks) We have word from Dr. Malcolm Parry the uh attendant the surgeon at Parkland Hospital who attended President Kennedy (takes off glasses) who says that when he arrived at the Emergency Room I noticed the President was in critical condition with a wound of the neck and head. (puts glasses back on) When asked if possibly the wounds could have been made by (takes off glasses) two bullets he said that he did not know. He said that immediate uh (puts glasses back on) resumptive measures were taken uh and Dr. Kent Clark the Chief of Neuro Surgery was called along with several other members of the staff. Dr. Perry says they arrived immediately but at this point the President’s condition was critical and moribund. A tracheotomy was performed to assist the President’s breathing. That’s a throat operation. The doctor’s said an oxygen machine was used and blood and fluid also were administered. All of this obviously to no avail.
The President died 25 minutes after the shooting (takes off glasses) at 1:00 Eastern uh Standard Time.

We’re going to switch now to Bob Hoffhacker down in the placement of the Court house who is close to the scene. Go ahead, Bob.
(Bob :In a very southern accent) The situation now is now that Lee Harry Oswald has been shot.
The man who saw the shot fired said it was fired by a man wearing a black hat a brown coat a man that everyone down here thought was a Secret Service Agent.
(All the reporters are talking to their respective listeners so many are talking at once but saying different things, but the guy leaning down crouched in front is the one speaking to the camera) who looks eerily like John Cusack, the actor! Since there are so many other actor participants in this assassination and coverup.
I would not be surprised if it is John Cusack.
Why not? I’ve seen Amanda Plummer and many other actors that are a part of this National Tragedy even though they were
just kids at the time this occurred just like most of us. Somehow we are all involved as if it is evolving now. Anything is possible and since realizing the clergy’s role and particular clergy that I believe I have discovered acting in an evil manner in this assassination and occurring as other momentous deceptive religious events were and are now occurring that affect you which are extremely menacing to you and your loved ones and your fellow man and even your enemies. I have tried to share what I notice even as outlandish as it may sound.
But then back in the 40′s and 50′s actors were blackballed and seemed to be important enough to be blackballed. Obviously they can be used as a tool by some especially when it comes to propaganda but that doesn’t mean they hadn’t evolved in their response to these measures. Same goes for the clergy, newsmen, government officials and civilians propelled into this controversy.
It is a collision of sorts like “The Big Bang” or the collision I wrote about between “The synoptic gospels and the gospel of John.” It is obviously very important and should not be ignored.

Oswald will be removed quickly outside and the only word so far is that the shot came from a man wearing a black hat and a coat. Here comes Oswald. He’s he is ashen and unconscientious at this time now being moved in. He’s not moving. He’s in the ambulance now and attendants, police are quickly climbing in. They are now having to move the armored truck from the head of the basement entrance here.

It’s being moved out on to Commerce Street and now the ambulance is coming out the ambulance with Lee Harvey Oswald who was shot just a few minutes ago as he was being transferred to the uh from was planning to be transferred from the City Jail to the City uh City Police Department…..

JFK’S ASSASSINATION (CBS-TV COVERAGE)(PART 53)
This is Walter Cronkite back in our CBS Newsroom in New York. We will be returning to Washington of course, uh very shortly. But this is to report again that Lee Harvey Oswald the 24 year old Marxist Pro Castrolite to Dallas Police said they had a cinch case against the accused assassin of President Kennedy was himself shot to death in Dallas an hour and a half ago. He was shot in the basement of the City Jail as police attempted to transfer him from that jail where he had been held since the assassination to the County Jail a few blocks away.
Why in the world were they moving him to the County Jail? Who knows for sure but in my opinion as yet it was an excuse to cause more confusion and mayhem and lay the blame elsewhere. Smoke and mirrors.
The police captured a man at the scene who reporters saw shoot Oswald and have booked him. They say his name is Jack Ruby or Rubenstein. He is 52 years old, a bachelor, a Dallas nightclub operator who as fas as anyone has been able to find out had no particular political opinions.
Someone passes something to Walter Cronkite.
Rubenstein (Walter licks) uh or Ruby as he is known there had been in Dallas some ten years. He (garble or a glitch) automobile just outside the entrance to the basement leaped a three foot fence and with perfect timing dashed into an open door of the basement just as Oswald was led from an elevator from an upstairs jail toward an armored car that had been brought to the jail for special precautions for moving him to the County Building. Ruby if that uh turns out to be the man involved in the murder of Oswald ran forward right up to Oswald and from less than a foot away fired a small caliber pistol. The bullet did mortal damage to Oswald who apparently never regained consciousness. He was taken to Parkland Hospital and died an hour and fifteen minutes after he was shot in a Emergency room just 10 feet from the room where President Kennedy had died almost exactly 48 hours before.
And now let’s go down to Dallas and Dan Rather:

We have in the studios of our affiliate station KRLD TV here in Dallas Bill DeMar who is a nightclub MC, a comedian by profession. Bill worked in the nightclub owned by Jack Ruby. Jack Rubisstein (as he pronounced it) is his real name known in Dallas circles as Jack Ruby.
Q: Bill how long have you been working at the Carousel Club owned by Jack Rubenstein?
Bill: Uh, this time about two weeks.
Q: You had worked for him before, had you?
Bill: Three times before, this is my fourth time here.
Q: The Carousel Club is located right in downtown Dallas. What kind of place is it?
Bill: Well it’s a nightclub. Uh it has about five or six exotic dancers uh all (garbled)
Q: Is it a pretty rough place?
Bill: No, no a there’s a lot of people that have said to me when they came up to me after shows or between shows that said that they liked the place because it was intimate. (licks)
Q: What kind of man is Jack Rubenstein?
Bill: Well, if you know him he’s he’s a pretty good type guy. He, uh always treated me right and we always got along real well. Uh, I consider him more of a friend than an employer.
Q: Is he an extrovert? Is he a hand shaking backslapping rather loud type person?
A: In a way, yes. Yes, uh uh kind of impulsive. He’d change from one thing to the other, sometimes do things out of the clear blue.
Q: You say rather impulsive?
Bill: At times.
Q: Could you give us an example of what you would consider as some impulsive actions?
Bill: mmm, No, his mind would would uh uh is always working is always going and uh he’d be uh possibly talking to you about one thing and all of a sudden he’d take off about on something else.
Q: Is he married? What the heck does that have to do with it?
Bill: No, he never has been, to my knowledge. It seemed that he mentioned to me before that he never married. Doesn’t drink, doesn’t smoke.
Q: There have been some reports that uh he came to Dallas from Chicago. Do you know anything about that?
Bill: No I don’t.
Q: Does he have a police record of which you are aware?
Bill: No, not that I know of
Q: Did it surprise you when you heard this morning that he’d possibly fired the shots which uh wound up killing Lee Oswald?
Bill: Definitely, I was very shocked and very saddened uh that uh Jack would even be involved. But, uh, I don’t know. The fact that he had closed the club so definitely like he did ur uh putting up a sign saying closed and taking the pictures out of the front of the club and um not calling me notifying me that he had closed. Uh, he had somebody else call, but I never got the message.
Q: Now when was this? He called when to tell you the club was closed.
Bill: He didn’t call me.
Q: I see.
Bill: Uh he had somebody else call me.
Q: When was this?
Bill: Uh, Friday uhhh when I had heard about the news of the President uh I reluctantly got ready to go to work because I hadn’t got the message that he had closed. They failed to deliver the message to me and so I got ready to go to work and got down there and saw the sign on the front saying” Closed” and I drove around to the other two clubs and they were closed, but they had no notice.
Q: Did he own two more clubs in town?
Bill: No I the other two uh burlesque clubs that are near there.
Q: I see. Do you know anything about Jack Rubenstein’s political philosophies?
Bill: No he never uh spoke about anything. When we’d go for breakfast afterwards or anything the only thing he’d talk about was his business.
Q: Did you ever hear him say anything about President Kennedy?
Bill: Never.
Wow listen to this!
Q: Do you know Lee Oswald? Have you ever seen him?
Bill: To my knowledge if I recollect correctly I saw him in the audience last week.
Q: Lee Oswald in the audience at the club?
Bill: Yea
Q: At the Carousel?
Bill: Yes
Q: Which is owned by Jack Rubenstein?
Bill: Yes.
Q: That would have been about how many days ago?
Bill: eight, nine
I wonder why Oswald was at Jack Ruby’s club a week before?
And I wonder which Oswald?
Q: Do you remember the specific uh instance what happened with Oswald in the club? Was he simply in the audience?
Bill: No I was doing a memory routine and uh I use about 20 people in the audience and have ‘em call out an object and then at random I call the objects back to them uh whoever wants their object called first or whatever the case may be. It seems to me he was one of the people uh after seeing the picture in the paper I remember seeing him in the audience as one of the people that gave me an object.
Q: Did Jack Rubenstein speak with Oswald to your knowledge?
Bill: No, I didn’t, I didn’t see him. I don’t think Jack even knew he was in there.
Q: You don’t think Rubenstein knew that Oswald was in the club. (Bill nods sideways) It’s such a strange coincidence that uh he would be in the club. Do you think it possible that Rubenstein knew him?
Bill: I don’t think so. Well, uh I don’t know for sure.
Q: uh huh. Could you possibly be mistaken about Oswald?
Bill: Being in the club?
Q: Yes
Bill: Well, I don’t know. I’ve remembered the face, and I do remember faces.
Q: In your own mind you’re certain it was Oswald.
Bill: Yes
Q: Had you made an effort to see uh Jack Rubenstein since the shooting this morning?
Bill: No I had thought about going down there now because like I say he’s more of a friend than an employer and I did want to see him.
Q: Before all this happened would you have thought that Rubenstein was the type of man capable of such violence?
Bill: No, no Jack uh acted a little harshly sometimes but uh nothing like this. I wouldn’t have thought he’d do anything like this
Q: What do you mean he acted harshly sometimes in (garbled) with his employees?
Bill: No no uh uh garbled employees and sometimes customers. If they got a little out of hand why he was ready to put them out.
Q: Do you know whether he carried a gun on his person as a matter of general course?
Bill: Uh yes. Uh he carried it in a bag when he went back and forth to work.
Q: What kind of. Have you seen this pistol?
Bill: Uh yes I saw it once uh a little over a year ago. Last time I was here.
Q: What kind of pistol was it garbled?
Bill: A little, sharp nose, it was very small uh little pistol. He only carried it when he went back and forth to work. I never saw him on carry it on him you know or anything like that.
Just in the bag as protection, because he was carrying the money.
Q: Uh huh.

Q: Do you do you ever recall seeing any unsavory characters or people that you might associate with the underworld around the club

There were many witnesses to the shooting of Oswald allegedly by Jack Rubenstin Rubenstein. Uh, one of them was a a Detective Combest who knew Rubenstein very well and he said he saw him charging into the garage just as Oswald was being taken from elevator to the armored car. He said he knew what he was going to do, tried desperately to stop him, shouted an epithet at him to stop but was too late in reaching Ruby’s side and uh the shot was fired. (licks)
How would Detective Combest know what Rubenstein was going to do?
It looked to me like Ruby was standing still behind someone (a cameraman, photographer… I believe)
before Oswald came in
and I did not hear anyone shouting an epithet to stop
in the video.

Eddie Barker: I have met him yes. He’s been around a long time. He had the one violation here uh a state liquor law violation for selling beer after hours in 1955, December 1955.
Dan Rather: I understand he came to Dallas from Chicago in 1948.
EddieBarker: That’s correct. He was born in Chicago in 1911.
Dan Rather: Is this the only uh Police Record that he had here?
Eddie Barker: This is the only record we have been able to run down to this time, however a further check may bring up something else, but the only record that we were able to run down on him so far, is the liquor law violation in 1955.
Dan Rather: We have some notes gathered from CBS Newsmen in the field
Eddie Barker: Incidently I might say that he has a sister here that uh
Dan Rather: I was just going to say that uh we have someone, either on your staff or ours, has spoken with Mrs. Eva Grant who is a sister to Jack Rubenstein. Mrs. Grant uh describes her brother as a very uh patriotic sort of man uh with no particular political leanings other than he was always um very out spoken for the man who was President at any particular time. And I think she made the point that he was is a very pro Kennedy but he had been very pro Eisenhower, for that matter. And that she also said that he was quite upset about the assassination of President Kennedy on Friday. He had closed both of his clubs, that is the Vegas Club which we understand he owned and The Carousel Club which I believe he operated. Someone else owns it is our understanding. She said he was a very generous uh man, but also extremely outgoing, uh extroverted. And that’s the picture we have on Jack Rubenstein at the moment.
I wonder who owns The Carousel Club?

The doctors at Parkland Hospital said that the single shot could scarcely have done more damage to a body than that shot did to Lee Harvey Oswald. It penetrated his spleen, his pancreas, the aorta, the kidney and the liver. A massive injury and massive bleeding also led to his death. The Justice Department has dispatched an Assistant Attorney General Jack Miller to Dallas to confer further there with police authorities. They say at the moment they do not know how they will treat the case whether they will look for further suspects now or consider the case closed now that Oswald himself is dead.

And we just have a bulletin in here that says Police have arrested a roommate of night club owner Jack Ruby. The man identified as George Senator. Senator had appeared voluntarily and was being questioned, but now apparently has been arrested although no charges have been filed. (licks) We don’t know what the significance of that bulletin is as yet.
Which is kind of eerie because Lee Harvey Oswald resembles Senator Arlen Spector
who promoted the single bullet theory in the JFK assassination.

that he was a poor student making his best grades in Art courses and Civics.
Just before he graduated from Jr. High the family moved to Exchange Place in the Old French Quarters in New Orleans. This is a short run down street.

Q: (garbled) he did best in in Civics and Art while he was at Beauregard. And we we a lot of times associate an artist with a with a non-conformist. A person who doesn’t dress or act like other people. Did did this kind of fit the description of uh Lee Oswald?
A: Yes, it did. He was kind of like well he was like an odd ball. He just didn’t mix with those other kids in school.
Q: Do any of you uh ever remember him having any difficulties in class with any of his teachers? Did he uh did he seem to get a long with all of his teachers or was he a belligerent person in class? Did he argue with teachers?
A: No. He more or less kind of wanted to do things for ‘em. Don’t you think he was that type?
A: Yea.
A: What I remember I mean he was a good student and wasn’t a trouble maker.
A: He seemed more like a book worm. All of the ladies nod and say yes and agree.
Q: While he mentioned also in his history record that he he liked to read a lot. Did he, did uh, did he carry a lot of books? Did you ever notice him carrying a lot of books, more books than other students, for example?
All three say: no
A: Usually (I think is what she said) a book to take to class…
Q: Alright there has been uh a couple of people in the city who uh knew Lee Oswald after he he grew up when he came back to New Orleans and they said that they almost immediately knew that it was Lee Oswald who had had assassinated the President. I I realize uh at 14 years old it’s probably a little early to form an opinion, but uh did the Lee Oswald who attended Beauregard Jr. High seem to be the the type of a person who would uh commit such an act?
A: No, but like they say thats the ones you have to watch, the quiet ones, and you don’t know what they’re going to do. He didn’t seem like it then.
A: I I can never remember him just laughing or smiling. He always just sort of smirked, tight lipped.

By all accounts Oswald was a loner. He himself said he had no close friends. The girls didn’t remember anyone who was particularity close to him. But there was one young student Edward Vogel who went out of his way to befriend Oswald and he tells about it:
Q: Would you tell us uh your first encounter as you can recall. This has been what about 8
A: It was about 8 years ago.
Q: Eight years ago? Tell us about it.
A: Uh, uh well I. He came in uh Beauregard’s mid-semester and uh he had uh a fight with a couple of boys and that’s how I first uh saw him. And uh as the the next day he uh someone had punched him in the mouth, but uh Oswald didn’t know, I didn’t know uh and I don’t think the boy even know him, knew him. Uh, I think these boys that he had a fight with them put this other guy up to punch him in the mouth to get back at him because Oswald uh did beat the other boy. And uh Oswald was laying down on the ground and I ran up to him and I think a couple other boys did too and we brought him back into school and uh washed his mouth off and put some uh cold compresses on his mouth.
Q: And and this is uh more or less the start of a friendship between you and Oswald at that time?
A: Well, that’s when we first met uh was when this happened.
Q: And uh what type of boy was he at 15? I understand that this was about the age of of that year?
A: Well, uh he didn’t uh seem to mix to well with the uh the rest of the boys or the girls and anyone there at the school. He didn’t seem to have any uh friends. He didn’t seem to be really interested in anything uh. He didn’t participate in any extra-curricular activities. Uh he was just a loner, it seemed like. licks 9:38/10:28
Q: I’ll tell you one one reason I’m concerned about the age of uh 15 and this reportedly is when uh Oswald first became interested or came in contact with the Marxist Theory. Now did he at any time during your relationship with him did he mention anything about his readings of uh uh Leftist or Marxist uh uh literature?
A: No, he (clears throat) he didn’t mention uh anything at all about uh any politics or socialism, communism, marxism or anything and I don’t believe that’s true. I don’t believe he had any really basic ideas on uh marxism or anything at 15 years of life. I think uh that came later somewhere along the line because uh he never mentioned anything like that to me at all. licks again

Q: Now in in talking uh earlier before this interview you had mentioned you had been to his house. Could you tell tell us a little about his home life?
A: Well, he uh when I knew him he lived in Exchange Alley I think it was 126 Ex Exchange Place or Alley. Uh it was small apartment (says in an northeastern accent) and it lived above above the pool rooms and uh in that area there’s nothing but pool rooms and bar rooms and it’s almost a skid row. It’s a very bad uh neighborhood.

A: Oh, this his father, from what I understand dying when he was very young and uh this was after I think he had moved to Texas and after his father had died his mother brought him to Texas and he came back here again and this was his second time in New Orleans.
Q: Any sort of uh as I understand it blamed the world for his his uh problems? Isn’t that what you mentioned earlier?
A: Well, uh it seemed that way to me after I at the time I didn’t uh uh have any basic opinions why he was a little different then uh uh most of us uh it didn’t uh enter my mind at all uh. I uh sort of liked him and that uh because he wasn’t exactly the general run-of-the-mill that I had known at school. Uh he was a little above them, he seemed to be at least even though he was, he came from a a poor family. that’s sayin he wasn’t exactly a roughie. He just had a little something about him that was just a little different from the average ruffian that I had know at that school.
The young man looks and acts and talks like he is in a trance, sedated,
as if he were on pain pills.
His eyes are in a daze, and glassy eyed.
He is out of it and not in control of his senses.

This is just in the first 3 or so minutes of this interview the amount of licking and sticking out of the tongue is unusual. But it is not unusual in this coverage of the JFK Assassination. However I did notice it when the cop or chief in LA was talking about the investigation of Natalie Wood that he seemed to do the same as well as Billy Graham when being interviewed and Jackie Kennedy. like

Oswald returned to New Orleans in May of this year. In the interim he had served in the Marine Corps with a bad record. He had also gone to Russia where he announced that he was going to become a Russian citizen but he then changed his mind and returned to this country with a Russian wife. He, his wife and their small child rented an apartment on Magazine Street in New Orleans and Oswald apparently devoted a good deal of time to the New Orleans Chapter of the Fair Play For Cuba Committee a Pro-Castro Organization of which he was local Chairman.
Last August 16th Oswald and an unidentified young man distributed pamphlets promoting the Fair Play For Cuba Committee on a New Orleans street corner.Not too many people seemed interested. A week before Oswald got in a fight with Cuban Exiles because of the leaflets and was charged with disturbing the peace. He listed his occupation at the time as a mechanic and he was released after paying a $10 fine. At about this time Oswald sent his wife and the young child to live with his mother in Texas, then in the middle of the night he himself left leaving unpaid a half months rent.
His movements since then are not known to us until Friday morning when it is known that he was in the building in which the fatal shots were fired at John F. Kennedy.
Of course, didn’t he have a job at the School Book Depository?
And that, of course, was just two days before Oswald’s death.

That uh film that you saw was provided to us by our affiliate in New Orleans WWL TV, We might make note here now that CBS News is going to continue broadcasting these special events today and throughout the National Day of Mourning tomorrow CBS Television will not resume it’s normal programming until Tuesday.
Recounting again the events of another dramatic day in these series of dramatic days. Lee Harvey Oswald the 24 year old Pro Marxist Pro Castrolite to Dallas police accused of assassinating President Kennedy and of shooting Governor John Connally of Texas who is recovering today in Parkland Hospital himself was shot in the Dallas Police Station today by a man police have identified as Jack Rubenstein, a Dallas Night club operator 52 year old bachelor with no known political affiliations.
Here is the picture copyrighted by the Dallas Morning News and Service by the Associated Press which was taken a split second before the man identified as Ruby fired the shot as Lee Oswald you see there was being led from an elevator to an armored car, a special armored car which had been ordered to try to transfer him safely to the County Jail a few blocks away.
They paraded him about the Press so that he could show his bruise and talk about unfair lack of representation etc.
It was a show to

Why not leave him in the City Jail? The angle of the picture was absolutely perfect for a good shot of this dastardly deed as if someone knew it would occur ahead of time,
that or the photographer was really tall.
Obviously, the perfect set up for the perfect shot for the perfect end.
Case Closed!
This was an act.
SO we don’t axt any more about the JFK assassination.
Instead of trying to get a great photo a split second before it would have been samaritan-like to try to stop Jack Ruby. If you have the where-with-all to snap a picture without shaking and blurring the photo as most people would have done in a time like this it might have been heroic to try to protect the prisoner for the sake of humanity and the integrity of justice, well hopefully anyway.
But then this may have been justice a clever ruse anyway.
Oswald did not regain conciousness. He shouted Oh Oh and fell to the floor taken to Parkland Hospital where he died an hour and fifteen minutes later. He had never uh admitted to the police the charge lodged against him that he was the assassin of President Kennedy. Let’s look at a Keniscope slow motion replay of the murder as captured by CBS Television cameras. (5:18/10:33-a play-by-play description by Walter Cronkite of Oswald’s assassination which can be viewed at the settings given on the video-tape of Part 57.

This is the basement of the Dallas Jail. The figure you see immediately in front of you uh is blocking a view of the elevator out of which Oswald is to be led. Now that figure steps back. It is from this side from near the camera that you will see the man police say was Jack Rubenstein known locally as Jack Ruby will appear. Police had cordoned off the Dallas City Jail, taken extraordinary precaution against any threat against Oswald’s life, but somehow Jack Ruby who was known to most of the police as a prominent nightclub operator got into the building and then shot Oswald according to the charge. So if he is convicted of that charge it will be 52 year old Jack Ruby who may make the trip through the green door at Huntsville’s Death Chamber in Texas rather than Lee Harvey Oswald, if he had been convicted of the charge lodged against him of killing the President of the United States. Newsmen coming forward, cameramen to get their pictures. Radio and television reporters in the scene. There where you see the lights at the end of the corridor is where the elevator doors would open to permit Oswald and his guard to come down this short corridor to the armored car parked just to the left at the entrance to the garage.
There had been some question raised in Dallas as to what turns out to be an unfortunate decision to have used an armored car instead of a normal Police Patrol Wagon which could have been backed right up to the elevator door practically and would have perhaps prevented this shooting of Lee Harvey Oswald, the shooting which forever sealed his lips and may have prevented police from ever getting the full story of what was behind the assassination of the President of the United States.
Now we should be seeing Oswald very shortly emerging in the right of the screen there. THERE is the MAN IDENTIFIED AS THE ASSASSIN JACK RUBY THEY SAY, THE MAN IN THE GREY HAT CROUCHING COMING RIGHT IN FRONT OF OSWALD AND LUNGING FORWARD FIRING HIS SHOT FROM A FOOT AWAY. POLICE OFFICERS CLOSE IN BUT THE FATAL SHOT HAS BEEN FIRED all they can do now is capture the murderer. Oswald himself crumples to the floor pitching forward with a bullet through his lower ab abdomen that pierced most of his vital organs. You see him now on the floor. The police crowded around the man they have identified as Ruby. That is Oswald on the floor and disappearing now over to the right, the murderer. He was pushed almost instantly back down the corridor into the elevator and taken up to the City Jail. All of this slow motion you see took place of course in the matter of a few seconds. The small caliber revolver that fired the shot was held so closely by the murderer and was fired so closely to the to Oswald that the shot scarcely was heard even in that cement corridor in the basement of the Dallas City Jail.
I watched this slow motion Keniscope replay and the picture above could not have been acquired by this film.
So the picture above must have
come from another camera source either set up ahead of time
for this momentous shot
or there was a camera set up already in that garage.
That would explain why there was not a Patty wagon used,
because there would not have been
a momentous shot acquired.
SO the Dallas Morning News and Service by the Associated Press
must have been tipped-off in order to have this famous copyrighted photo
and at the same time protected someones and somethings
other than the truth
and received accolades and who knows what else
for their betrayal.
All I can surmise from that
is the press is controlled by the mob.

Walter the slow-downed version you showed there as you mentioned was a Keniscope of the videotape. Now from a somewhat different angle cameraman George Phoenix in Dallas captured the same scene. So let’s look now at the same scene from a somewhat different angle.
Well, this video does not explain the photo of Ruby with the gun a split second before shooting Oswald.

Keep your eye on the hat, the man in the hat. There’s Oswald emerging through the doorway in a dark sweater accompanied by an officer and a western style hat. Now the THE HAT begins to move. A muffled shot rings out. There’s the man the lower right hand portion of the screen. Oswald groaned just barely audibly and police moved in quickly on the man who fired the shot. Oswald lay crumpled on the floor while Police subdued the man in the hat with the pistol. As soon as the man who fired the shot was uh wrestled away from Lee Oswald he was hustled immediately back in the Police Station, that is back in the main portion of the Police Station.
The shooting occurred in the very basement of the Dallas Police Station and the City Jail. More and more reports coming in from friends of Jack Rubenstein who used the name Jack Ruby as a night club operator and owner here in Dallas. A very close friend of Ruby told CBS News just a few minutes ago that Ruby would have been among the last people in the world they would have thought would have fired a shot at anyone. He was described by this close associate as he was described earlier by his sister who lives here in Dallas as an outgoing extroverted man, not a wealthy man. A man who owned one nightclub The Vegas and who reportedly owned The Vegas. He operated The Carousel Nightclub. Rubenstein was quite well known by a number of Dallas Police Officers
and the unanswered question at this moment
is how Rubenstein got in to the basement of the Police Station under the tight security. Uh the answers seem to be that Rubenstein was so well known by Dallas Police Officers that no one even took special note of his presense. He had been in the Police Station for the last several days. He had been around uh passing out cards,offering reporters drinks uh saying “Come on over to my place”, uh “We’re glad to have you in Dallas”, “Hope you come over and make yourself at home.” He’d been hanging around the Police station and uh around the corridor outside where the questioning of Lee Harvey Oswald had been underway um for the past 24 to 36 hoursand therefore uh it seems to be that his presence in the basement this morning caused no particular concerns simply because he was so well known by a number of officers. (And reporters:)
My question is:
Did Jack Ruby have a Press Pass?
The clergy around the airport where JFK arrived a half hour before he was assassinated
obviously had Press passes
so why not Jack Ruby.
Uh the one of the Police officers interviewed immediately after the shooting uh before it was known who did the shooting said uh “I saw the man who did the shooting. He is known to me. I know who he is.” So that’s possibly the explanation of how Jack Rubenstein got in to the very tight security ring that had been placed around the whole area to which Lee Oswald was to have walked.
But that is not what the man known as Tommy Lee Jones
(the actor that stars in the movie Men in Black)
said in the “live” film at the garage of the City Jail in Dallas on the you tube above in this post.
He is being misquoted as far as I know to some degree. The interview at the garage of a Police Officer is very confusing because there are a number of people asking questions at the same time and it was very hard to determine which questions his answers pertained to and what he meant by those answers. I would say that the interview by the press of the officer was incomplete because of the chaos. Whether there was an interview of the Police Officer later on that Dan Rather is referring to I have no idea. Maybe the interview of the Police Officer has been edited leaving out important information.
Also I could not hear some of the questions asked to include in this portion. He may have been answering a question not heard. It was very disorganized and chaotic having just occurred soon after Oswalds assassination….I think ,
if it really happened.

Obviously, from what Dan Rather says everyone knew Ruby around the Police Station,
including the reporters.
Isn’t that what Dan Rather just said?
So why is he pinning recognition of Ruby on one man, the Police Officer?
I highly doubt if that officer were responsible for Ruby’s presence he would say what he said
and implicate himself unless he is a dunce;) or playing a dunce.
But honestly I would venture
he the Police officer was being forthright
and Dan Rather is trying to find
a patsy,
for some reason.
This reminds me of the comedy The Princess Bride (one of my favorites) where two men are drinking and switching drinks around one of which is poison and playing Russian Roulette with that poison and the thought processes of one of the villains.

And uh word also in just now from Dallas that Homicide Chief Captain Will Fritz who had been one of those in charge of interrogation of of Lee Oswald has now said that the case of President Kennedy’s assassination is now closed with the death of Oswald. That’s the opinion of the Police officer in Dallas. It may not be the opinion of the Secret Service or the Federal Bureau of Investigation. A uh Special US District Attorney uh is flying to Dallas and is going to confer down there with officials. The Dallas Police have placed under arrest we have been told Lee the uh Jack Ruby’s roommate and presumably interrogation as to what precisely motivated Ruby will continue.
The death of Lee Oswald came uh almost to the moment 48 hours after President Kennedy the man he was accused of assassinating died in the same Parkland Hospital where Lee Oswald’s life expired. It came also almost the moment that Eulogies were being said over the casket of President Kennedy in the Great Rotunda Hall of the Capitol in Washington. We will go back now to Washington.
The thousands of Americans still file by the catafalque of the late President in the Rotunda of the Capitol Building here in Washington.
Outside on the East Front the line of
mourners that is to pass through the Rotunda has thickened. Although the crowd that once occupied the grass, the lawns, the East Front of the Plaza itself have uh thinned out. There all concentrated in this one single line. The line is fed from both ends of the Capitol Building from the House Wing, the Senate Wing in the shape of a GIANT M first heading back to the Supreme Court then doubling back straight at the East Front. Blue coated Policemen still stand at parade rests along the curb stones that make their pattern along the Plaza. Those arches lead into the House Wing.
Who planned this design? JacQUELine?
Was the “M” symbolic for Mary or St. Matthew, or both?
Don’t forget that Bishop Butler
who I think was at the airport in Dallas dressed as a pilot the day of the assassination of JFK (along with the press, clergy, photographers, diplomats, and Secret Service entourage )
and was defender of the priority of the Gospel of Matthew
at Vatican ll in 1963.

Last year in the spring of 2009 I renewed my fascination with bible prophecy because of the events that did occur in a flurry that seemed to be fulfillments of prophecy. We are living in very interesting times. Since then, I have come to question what I thought I knew and have been trying to see through the mist of time what may have actually transpired in the days Jesus Christ walked on this earth and afterwards.
For as long as I can remember I always had heard that the bible was holy and I expected the truth on every page! Unlike what the most bible scholars contend, I have come to realize that the gospels do not harmonize! The Synoptic Gospels are diametrical opposites to the Gospel of John! I believe the Synoptic Gospels purposefully buffet Jesus Christ and the truth. I think “the many” have corrupted the truth about God the Father, His Son Jesus Christ and his disciples to deceive the world.
I certainly don’t have the answers and, so far it seems, very few do. I hope this blog will be a place for like-minded people and “other weirdos”(LOL) to communicate their thoughts without fear and possibly learn from each other.

This is not a recommendation for I have not read the book below, but I like the message and I’m trying to get my favorite blog spot some attention because my favorite posts are comparing the gospels to each other. Still JFK’s assassination and it’s timing with the
Second Vatican Council
and the involvement of the clergy in the assassination of JFK
is not coincidental in my opinion and seems to tie into bible prophecy .
What to make of the timing, even the time of his death and the controversy surrounding that time (as I have tried to show in the CBS News posts above) seems to have some, if not a great deal of importance, or why the controversy? I can’t help but think of Jesus talking to the woman at the well in the Gospel of John and the time of that meeting. There is a quite a bit of prophetic implication in the controversy of the time zones and possible alteration to coverup the actual time of JFK’s death between the reporters at CBS News at that time
and I think it is worth the time to investigate!
The author of this book is Bill Clinton’s younger brother, I think.:) Just kidding! His name is Donald James Lawn.
